Digital delivery
Digital products are generally delivered immediately through the applicable commerce platform and cannot be returned in the same manner as physical goods.
General rule
Except where required by law or the commerce platform’s controlling terms, completed digital-product purchases are generally non-refundable after successful access or download.
Potential exceptions
- Verified duplicate purchase
- Material delivery failure that cannot be corrected
- A materially incorrect product supplied
- Unauthorized transaction handled through the payment provider
- Any refund right required by applicable law
Before requesting a refund
Contact support with the order email, product name, purchase date, transaction or receipt reference, and a concise description of the issue. Reasonable delivery and technical support should be attempted first.
Amazon purchases
Print, Kindle, and other Amazon purchases are governed by Amazon’s applicable return and refund rules.
License termination
A refund, chargeback, reversal, or cancellation terminates the associated license. The customer must stop using and delete all copies unless law requires otherwise.
